TRADITIONAL SET UP WITH MODERN TWIST

Aimed at the more serious ball striker who want the extra pop that fast face technology delivers. But in a smaller package that better ball strikers prefer. Taylormade have used the DNA recipe of great performance, fantastic sound and gorgeous looks of P790. Then designing the Taylormade P770 Irons custom irons with this in mind. And an exciting new iron has been born. Thanks to weaker lofts than the P790, its a more traditional loft set up. So the P770 will launch higher and spin more, but give up virtually no carry distance. Its still got a rocket in its iron shell.

The body is cast from 8620 carbon steel, like lots of modern wedges, but a fast, forged 4140 steel face, speed pocket and internal speed foam guarantee great ball speed. Theres minimal offset and a thin top line, but thanks to 46g of tungsten being positioned internally the centre of gravity is lower. And because of this, you get improved stability.

So it looks great, its quick, feels great, sounds good and performs. What is not to like about this iron? Squeezing everything golfers love about the P790 into a smaller package will appeal to many.
